Cardinal Data Systems (CDS) provides solutions to our clients that protect their business operations in the face of all types of business disasters including but not limited to power failure, flood, fire, acts-of-God, and 9-11-type disasters. Proactive Alerting and Monitoring - CDS has been monitoring and managing the UPtime of businesses in the Northeast area for over 25 years and we do it better and more cost-effectively than anyone else.

According to industry statistics, 46% of all ECommerce sites (or their back-ends) will suffer major downtime at least once this year.  This is a situation made worse when management is not made aware of the failure until after business is lost – or sometimes not at all.

CDS' monitoring solutions detect when business servers and networks:

  • are not functioning
  • are not reachable
  • are not responding properly and/or quickly

We make sure that management (human beings) are reached and action plans deployed within minutes of a problem occuring. 





Remote Backup - We offer an inexpensive remote backup service that costs probably no more than you pay today to back up your data yourself internally. Instead, we back up your data remotely, via the Internet, preserve your data offsite, and provide you with a web-based utility to recover your files whenever you need to. One of the key benefits you gain is knowing that in a 9-11-type disaster your data and business applications are secure.

Site Replication - In the ultimate scenario we build and maintain a replica of your network at our remote business continuity site. We configure the remote system to replicate the same or similar functionality as your inhouse network for the selected servers. This means that in the event of a disaster your business applications can continue running on our servers until your site is available again.
